According to recent reports, Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora
has been fired from the band's latest tour - because of money.
Sambora, who has been with the band for 30 years,
earns $2 million a month plus 20 percent of the profits while on tour.
After taxes, Heather, and the bar tab -
that's probably still a pretty decent chunk of change.
Well, apparently it's just a little too decent for someone's blood -
(because it's not like he's a legend in the making or anything).
So, Richie Sambora, iconic lead guitarist of one of the biggest bands in rock
has been replaced - with a session guitarist.
Yep, you read that correctly.
Fans hoping to see Sambora perform during Bon Jovi's current tour
will instead have to settle for guitarist Philip "Phil X" Xenidis
(aka 'who the hell is that guy?').
Xenidis will replace the rock icon for $10,000 a month, and no tour profits -
leaving lots of extra benjamins for the band's 3 remaining original members.
No one will even notice. Right, guys?
