These boots were made for walking?

I sincerely believe that women's shoes are the invention of misogynistic bastards who despise the women in their lives for whatever inexplicable reason, and have figured out a way to torture them and publicly humiliate them at the same time.

And when I see the latest fashions stumbling down the runways, it does very little to allay my suspicions.
 

What I don't understand is why we keep falling for it . . .
